VEDA has partnered with GTBank Plc, MTN Nigeria, Standard Alliance Insurance, Microsoft, Jobberman and Intel Nigeria, to provide students and youth corp members with a VEDA laptop, Windows 8 OS, MTN 3G Internet Modem with 1 Month internet access, 1 year warranty, 1 year accidental damage insurance and apps including Jobberman’s premium services as well as a laptop bag financed by GTBank Plc.
Youth corp members should provide their Bio Data, Call Up ID Number and open a GTBank account to apply and receive the product bundle while students only need a working sponsor or guarantor to co-apply.
For the Pilot scheme kicking off this month, prospective youth corpers can apply in Lagos and Abuja NYSC Orientation camps and pick up the products on the last day of the orientation camp. Pilot Universities for students include:

- University of Jos
- Modibbo Adama University of Science and Technology, Yola
- Gombe State University, Gombe
- Usmanu Dan Fodiyo University, Sokoto
- Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Aliero
- Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka
- Ebonyin State University, Abakaliki
- Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma
- University of Port Harcourt
- University of Lagos, Akoka
- Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba
SLIC will be available to all Universities and all NYSC camps nationwide in 2013.
